FAQ ABOUT THE COMPANY AND OUR PRINCIPLES

Ahinsa is an old Vedic expression that can be translated as “non-violence”. Our project is based on three non-violence principles:
- care for our own health - Ahinsa shoes are made in cooperation with doctors and physiotherapists
- care for the people who make shoes and the materials we use
- care for our environment and animals. Ahinsa shoes are 100% vegan – they do not contain any parts from killed animals; in addition, all materials are produced in the EU with the strictest health attestations (https://www.oeko-tex.com)
Simply put, it is footwear made without the use of materials from slaughtered animals. Ahinsa shoes are made without violence (= Ahinsa) towards animals, our environment, or production workers. Last but not least, they are designed by doctors and physiotherapists not to cause violence to our health.

Also our materilas have much higher quality than the "animal delivered" ones >>.
