Shoes and knee joints

The knee joint is a connecting line between the hip joint (pelvis, spine, ...) and the foot. Therefore, leg position and function have a major influence on the correct function of the knee joint. For the joint, its centered position is essential, in a calm state and in motion - that is, it has to move in its axis and at the same time be stabilized by the functional muscle chain.

Ahinsa shoes® are designed by physiotherapists and made so that the foot - ankle joint - knee joint - hip joint - and the rest of the body can work freely and naturally in their centered position. This is the basic  requirement for:
- centered (physiological/natural) position of the knee joint
- optimal activation of the muscle chain that stabilizes the knee joint

Both requirements must be met at the same time to ensure the conditions of the natural function of the knee joint

Any movement therapy and knee joint therapy will make no sense if you walk in the shoes for the rest of the day, which cause deformations or a change in the function of the feet and thus of the knee joint.

The function of the Ahinsa shoes® was also verified at Masaryk-University in Brno. Ahinsa shoes® are not only designed but also recommended by doctors and physiotherapists.
