One person's trash is another’s treasure. And this is one unbelievably comfortable and stylish treasure

Our Malai sandals got their start from an unlikely place: Waste from coconut farms, which feeds the yeast that produces cellulose and creates this beautiful and durable Malai material. And it’s from this, that we created these perfect summer sandals designed by physiotherapists

Put on ethical and comfortable shoes this summer.

  • Designed by physiotherapists for a healthy stride
  • Handmade in the Czech Republic and Croatia
  • Decomposable material made from coconut waste
  • Natural cork cushions your steps

Free your toes. Regain your natural balance. Your entire body position will improve.

Ahinsa Malai: Beauty from coconut waste

Farmers in India produce mountains of coconut waste every day. But a Slovak designer has found the perfect use for it: She feeds it to the bacteria that produce cellulose and converts it into a gorgeous and durable material

It’s so incredible that we decided to make an exception: Malai is our very first material that doesn’t come from the EU.

  • Made with coconut waste from Indian farmers.
  • 100% degradable
  • Eye-catching material that gets tons of compliments

Lightweight cork cushions your steps

You’ll feel like you’re walking on clouds with our natural cork footbed. It’s ultra-lightweight and naturally cushions every impact. We’ve also added a durable, non-slip outsole below the cork to secure your every step.
Wear eco-friendly material produced right in Europe.

  • Natural European cork
  • Cushions heel impact
  • Non-slip outsole

As healthy as walking barefoot, study confirms

Your stride is healthy and natural in Ahinsa shoes, studies carried out at Masaryk University confirm.

According to the research, Ahinsa shoes allow your foot to engage just like when you walk barefoot. By contrast, ordinary shoes restrict your feet and block their natural sensory contact with the ground.

Do something for your health, today.

Physiotherapists about Ahinsa shoes®

★★★★★

Ahinsa shoes allow the feet natural movement because they provide plenty of place for the toes. The thin and flexible outsole gives the feet a chance to optimally perceive the ground. We must mention the ethical and ecolgical production in the Czech Republic. All this makes the Ahinsa shoes an ideal choice for anyone who wants more than just the shoes and wants to enjoy a real walk.

★★★★★

Ahinsa shoes are for me beautiful, original Czech barefoot schoes, which are characterized by careful craftsmanship and the use of high quality materials - natural or recycled. They provide enough space for the fornt of the foot, which is necessary for the correct posture of the toes and which also influences the posture of the whole body.
